The interior design renovation of Giando Italian Restaurant and Bar has breathed new life into this modern fine dining establishment. The primary objective of the renovation was to revitalise the restaurant and create a more prominent bar and lounge area, enhancing the overall ambiance and providing a captivating space for customers. ​​

The design concept focuses on a neutral aesthetic, serving as a canvas to showcase the elegant textures within the restaurant. The chosen materials and textures are adorned with artistic craftsmanship reminiscent of antique Italian art and architecture, adding a touch of elegance and heritage to the contemporary space.

A contemporary reimagining of the traditional Hong Kong tea house, inspired by the motif of birdcages once carried by diners to dim sum restaurants. Sculptural brass, textured glass, and antique mirrors reinterpret this symbol, creating depth and cultural resonance throughout.
A rich palette of dark timber, brass, and soft lighting bridges heritage and modern sophistication. Executed in just one month, the renovation balances intimacy with vibrancy, connecting guests to the artistry and theatre of dim sum making.
